Liffey Swim

Fergal McCarthy is a Dublin based visual artist who incorporates installations, photography and film into his work practice.

It was Fergal’s belief that Dublin doesn’t have the same relationship with the Liffey in the same way Paris, Bangkok or Stockholm have with their principle rivers.  He did a solo swim of the river and the event was captured via video and photos and formed the basis of his exhibition called, simply enough, The Liffey Swim.
